🏼Since the moment I met you, I've looked up to you. It's crazy to think I was only 12 and you 10. Before I met your family I had never come across Cystic Fibrosis and growing up with you and your illness has had an incredible impact on my overall perspective. From you not being able to attend more than half a day of school, not being able to play sports, go on trips, constantly being hospitalized, or doing your treatments every night while we played DDR… You always managed to have the greatest time and best childhood with us eating all the candy in the world, making movies, playing sims till 5am, and laughing 24/7. When I look back I realize that you being at such a disadvantage yet still having the biggest smile on your face at all times subconsciously gave me so much strength and made me realize that anything is possible. Thank you for being the best example of never giving up and a true fighter. Not the mention the fact that you miraculously surprised us all and became the greatest mommy in the world.
