Boys will be boys?! How much longer will we carry on this lame excuse & teach it to our children?! With all that's trending in the media/social media right now. This sparked a lot inside of me. This is very personal to me. Something as a woman I have not yet learned to live without being affected by it. A lot of times ignoring the issue forcing my self to believe it's normal "Oh he's being a man". Developing a skill on how to say NO, how to escape predators without highly offending the oh so "Powerful". This should not be a skill one should need to master. This is not a Hollywood kept secret. This is not NEW news. Why does society keep letting these pigs, predators, pedophiles, sick people get away with it. This is not just an issue in Hollywood, or the modeling industry this also happens in schools, churches & in our homes. I speak from personal experience. I have dealt with this issue ALL my life. Why should anyone else have to go through this?! How many more people need to be affected by men that believe their "power" "fame" "success" "wealth" "money" "popularity" gives them the right over anyone else. As a child I experienced this in my family, as a teenager I experienced this in my own church, school in "Hollywood" "Modeling" I've pretty much met them all, seen it all & have been offered it all. I also refused/declined anything that made me feel uncomfortable. Costing me major roles, major jobs & $. My pride, my dignity, my self respect, my self worth, my conscious, my morals are worth far more to me. But what about the times NO wasn't the end for those predators ?! What about the persistence, the threats, the manipulation, the after math. Eventually they go on to the next prey. But what about all those that are effected forever?! This needs to stop. The excuses need to stop. Weather you are a child, teen, adult, dressed fully covered or in a bikini. We are all human & deserve respect. This happened to me as a child, it happened to me in a Christian church one I attended fully dressed with long skirts down to my ankles & it continues to happen. Sick predators don't see age or wardrobe. They are sick & need to be held accountable for their fu**ing actions.
