Recently she was talking to me about how she feels a change in energy on sets these days, she feels more women are sticking up for each other and becoming each other’s allies and it wasn’t always that way. In that regard, more women supporting women is the best thing we can do, we’re stronger together, it’s just a fact.”

Laura: “Sofia Coppola is so calm and got across in this beautiful, connective way what she wanted from you, the emotions and feelings she wanted to pull out… It’s almost like she’s not directing but connecting.”

Rowan: “When we were working with Carrie [Brownstein], the way she carries herself around the set… she’s in control but it doesn’t feel super dominant and very aggressive, but definitely in control, watching that was really interesting.”
